Have you ever sat on a leather couch on top of a trailer and watched the lights of the Star of Texas Carnival sparkle in the night? Or how about grab some tasty BBQ and watch a bunch of BMF Cooks and the local police jumping bikes off a make-shift ramp? Or just grab a nice cold beverage and sit back and watch the crazy people dance on the table tops or even join in yourself? If not then you haven’t been by to visit the BMF cooks while we have as much fun as possible and go all out to raise as much money for Central Texas Youth Scholarships as we can.

BMF Cooks are an up-and-coming BBQ Cook-Off Competitor at the Star of Texas Fair Rodeo. While it is true there’s never a dull moment under our tent, all that hard work and excitement has one primary goal: to raise money for scholarships for Central Texas Youth. And to back that up we have doubled our contributions to this fund each year and don’t plan for anything less in the future. This is all made possible by our group of dedicated team members and our generous sponsors who reserve this one weekend a year to do our part and give back to the wonderful community we live in. And how about placing 10th in brisket our first year in the running out of more than 50 cook-off competitors! We may be a new team but as the saying goes, “This ain’t our first rodeo."
